Better World by Design
Better World x Design (BWxD) is hosting their 17th annual design conference on Saturday, October 17th from 10AM-6PM. Open to all students, educators, and professionals, this conference invites a handful of professionals from a variety of design fields to come speak on their experience, work, and insights on how to shape a better world.
This year’s conference theme is Roots. From the networks of our families to the collaborations we build as we grow, our identities become shaped by the systems we are rooted in. In today’s age, we find that our networks extend beyond those in our immediate circle, extending to creatives across disciplines to address the ever global challenges and issues. How is it that we can uproot and reroute the work that we engage in as creatives, makers, designers, and imagineers?
Our speakers come from various design industries, including UI/UX, accessibility, visual branding, green architecture, and more. They represent companies like IDEO, WXY, and Terreform ONE. Networking opportunities are available.
This ticket grants you access to all conference events, and you are welcome to attend any or all of them. This ticket also includes free catered lunch and Roots merchandise, including a T-shirt, tote bag, and sticker sheet.
